around 2006, while in medical school, i remember accidentally immersing myself into the world of travel blogs. i was going on a summer elective to singapore, and had wanted to know where i should credit my frequent flyer points to. at around that time, i had signed up for the MBNA starwood mastercard, which gave me the choice to transfer into one of 29 airlines at the time. and from there, i kind of got hooked. some people do marijuana. others do cocaine. i scheme about how to get points. it's the safer bet.
